Adsum x ELAC Debut ConneX DCB41: A Special Edition for Exceptional Sound

Adsum Elac Debut

In an exciting collaboration, Adsum and renowned German audio brand ELAC have teamed up to create a special edition of the award-winning Debut ConneX DCB41 powered bookshelf speakers. This partnership brings together Adsum’s commitment to quality and style with ELAC’s expertise in crafting high-performance audio equipment.

The Adsum x ELAC Debut ConneX DCB41 speakers showcase an exquisite, stylish off-white design, setting them apart as the sole model with a flawless, painted finish. This unique aesthetic is complemented by custom magnetic speaker screens, a one-piece metal stand, a bespoke speaker box, and a color-matched controller, all designed exclusively for this special edition.

Powered by two built-in 50-watt Class D amplifiers and equipped with a wide array of inputs, including HDMI ARC, Analog/Phono, Optical, USB, and Bluetooth (aptX), these speakers make it easy to enjoy premium audio from virtually any source. The built-in phono preamp allows users to connect most turntables directly to the speakers, while the USB input supports high-resolution audio up to 96kHz/24-bit for Mac and Windows computers.

The Adsum x ELAC Debut ConneX DCB41 speakers incorporate specially engineered parts that synergize to provide an outstanding audio performance. The 4.5-inch long-excursion woofer with a wide-rolled surround and the rear-firing ports provide enhanced bass extension and minimize ventilation noise. ELAC’s proprietary XBass Enhancer circuit further optimizes bass output, while the 3/4-inch soft dome tweeters with custom waveguides ensure improved imaging and balance.

  • The DCB41 speakers have a frequency response of 66Hz—25,000Hz (anechoic) and 50Hz—25,000Hz (in-room), providing a wide and accurate sound stage.

  • The maximum system output is an impressive 102dB @ 1m, ensuring the speakers can fill even large rooms with high-quality audio.

  • The Bluetooth connection utilizes the aptX codec, which delivers near-CD quality audio wirelessly.

  • ELAC was founded in 1926 in Kiel, Germany, and has a rich history of innovation in the audio industry, including the development of the first active subwoofer in 1984.
